How To Transport Wildlife

Transporting Wildlife:

  1. Keep them warm!!! You can place them in a box or a carrier with dry hand towel and if they are very young, a sock baby. To make a sock baby fill a sock with rice, tie off the end, and microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Check for injuries. If they are injured tell the rehabber you are transporting to as they may need to go to the veterinarian they work with first.
  3. Secure the container, having loose wildlife in your vehicle while you are driving is not something you want.

Volunteer to Transport Wildlife:

Transport Volunteers will be added to our transport database and called upon for wildlife needing to be relocated. Our team will first make contact to confirm whether or not you are available, then proceed with transport details.
